Four often used irrigation options with NextGen Living Walls

Watering a NextGen Living Wall is very easy! Start watering in the top Tray and the water will automatically flow to the Tray below. In most cases, a manual – or simple irrigation option works perfect! Below we will explain the often used irrigation options that are easily applicable to NextGen Living Walls.

Favorite 1: Irrigation option A – Manual watering

• Easy watering with e.g. watering can, garden hose or our water machine.
• No water supply and drainage needed.
• Closed bottom Tray.
• You can install this NextGen Living Wall literally everywhere!

Favorite 2: Irrigation Option B-2 – Semi-manual watering with drippers

• Irrigation is hidden behind the Trays.
• Easy to connect with, e.g. a garden hose or our water machine by using the Gardena connection.
• No drainage needed!
• Watering several Trays at the same time.
• Closed bottom Tray.

Favorite 3: Irrigation option D-2 – Semi-automatic with drippers and drain

• Irrigation is hidden behind the Trays.
• Easy to connect with, e.g. a garden hose or our water machine by using the Gardena connection.
• Simple solutions for drainage are possible, e.g. gutter and PVC pipe.
• Watering several Trays at the same time.
• Open bottom Tray.

Favorite 4: Irrigation option F-2 – Semi-automatic with pump and drippers

• Irrigation is hidden behind the Trays.
• Easy to water with a pump in the water reservoir.
• No drainage needed!
• Watering several Trays at the same time.
• Open bottom Tray.
• Very easy to add liquid fertilizer
